Virginia and Howard Levenson have long had a special place in their hearts for children. Having raised two children of their own and now enjoying their five grandchildren, the Levensons believe in being assured that children and their families served at Rady Children’s are receiving the best care possible.
Most recently, the Levensons have given a significant gift to start the Palliative Care program at Rady Children’s.
“It gives both of us great joy knowing that we are supporting a Hospital in our own community that works to enhance the quality of life of children and brings hope and healing to them.” said Howard Levenson.
The Levensons have always been community-minded. Howard successfully ran an investment-banking company in San Diego and has served on several boards in our community as well as nationally. Virginia was an educator who has always enjoyed making a difference in children’s lives. She believes that giving to Rady Children’s is “something we feel strongly about and gives us great satisfaction knowing that we are creating a brighter and healthier future for kids.”
The Levensons generosity is an act of kindness that will touch countless lives and set a great example for others to follow.
