Jersey Mike's Subs’ sandwiches taste so good, and do so much for sick and injured kids. Jersey Mike's began their partnership with Rady Children’s in 2010 by sponsoring the Inaugural Holiday of Miracles Radiothon, a five-week radio campaign promoted on KyXy 96.5 and Sophie@103.7. Each time a customer purchased their famous #13 sandwich (the original Italian sub), $1 was donated to Rady Children's. This campaign raised more than $6,000 for the Hospital. As a bonus, Jersey Mike's Subs graciously fed our hungry volunteers!
Jersey Mike’s continued their culture of giving and commitment to our patients by choosing Rady Children’s as the beneficiary of the 2012 Month of Giving. During the month of March, each of the 11 San Diego County Jersey Mike’s locations supported Rady Children’s through Spirit nights and a very special Day of Giving. During the month of March, Jersey Mike’s customers were given the option to make a $1, $5 or $10 donation at the register. Additionally, every Wednesday customers were asked to make a minimum $2 donation to Rady Children’s and in return received a free regular sandwich of their choice. Rady Children’s patients were also invited to make sandwiches on the Day of Giving to celebrate the partnership. The Month of Giving was a great success and raised $45,000!
And yet, their support still continues to grow. In 2013, Jersey Mike’s chose Rady Children’s as their Partner for Life. During the Partner for Life campaign in the March Month of Giving, Jersey Mike's donated 20 percent of all store proceeds on every Wednesday Spirit night .The Month of Giving culminated with A Day of Giving on March 27, when each of the 16 San Diego locations donated 100 percent of proceeds from the entire day sales, raising more than $76,000!
