Making Strides Against All Odds
Life changed literally overnight for 14-year-old Jose in February of 2008. An active teenager who played soccer dodge ball and has a black belt in taekwondo, Jose went to bed one evening feeling fine and woke up the next morning in excruciating pain.

Running for Rady's began when classmate and friend, Khuong Lu was diagnosed with leukemia in November of 2008. His diagnosis hit fellow classmate DawnMarie hard, so she decided to do something about it.
