Naming Opportunities allow us to thank and recognize donors – whether they are individuals, corporations, foundations or organizations – with a lasting tribute.
We will work with you to develop a recognition opportunity that will be truly meaningful to you.
The Acute Care Pavilion
Naming opportunities are available in the Acute Care Pavilion, which opened in fall 2010. There are also many other exciting naming opportunities throughout the hospital for rooms, activity areas and annexes. For more information, please contact Amy Weeks at 858-966-8116 or email@example.com.
Artwork and Sculptures
Rady Children’s is far more than a hospital. It is a children’s hospital, designed to the smallest detail to be a place where kids can find joy and families can find solace.
From the bronze sculptures in the gardens to the wonderful paintings and interactive elements, the art of Rady Children’s can be named to recognize gifts at many levels.

Named Funds offer individuals, families, foundations and organizations a way to provide immediate or long-term support and receive recognition for their commitment to children. A fund can be named with gifts of $25,000 or more and, once established, may be added to anytime in any amount, providing an ongoing source of meaningful philanthropy for the benefit of the children and families we serve.
Donor Advised Funds
Rady Children’s maintains donor advised funds that are available to our contributors. Donors create the fund and work with Hospital staff to determine how their gifts will be used.
A donor advised endowment fund also can be established, providing annual gifts in the form of interest accrued by the fund on an annual basis, healing to ensure the future of Rady Children’s.
Another way to create a Rady Children’s Named Fund is through a Named Endowment – either with an outright gift or through your estate.
An endowment gift provides an immediate and long-term benefit to the Hospital. Many donors like the concept of endowment because their gift is held in reserve – and the earnings generated by the principal go toward the program of their choice or the Hospital’s highest and most urgent needs, as the donor determines. And you can name the fund – for yourself or loved ones – creating a lasting legacy for many generations to come.
Endowed Medical Chairs and Fellowships
Perhaps the most lasting and significant way to ensure Rady Children’s ongoing excellence in pediatric medicine is through an Endowed Chair. By funding a Medical Director’s Chair or Fellowship, you ensure ongoing and meaningful support of our programs and services.
The contribution is substantial -- $1 million-$2.1 million – and so are the results.
Medical Chairs and Fellowships are available in the following areas:
■ The Chadwick Center for Children and Families
■ Critical Care
■ Emergency Medicine
■ General Surgery
■ Infectious Diseases
■ Motion Analysis
■ Trauma Rehabilitation
