Purpose Statement
Members At Large is a membership category within RCHA that provides various opportunities to support its mission to educate, advocate and fundraise on behalf of RCH-San Diego. This group of women and men has a desire to help children receive the care, equipment and services they need.
Members At Large are men and women who believe in the mission and values of the Auxiliary and want to help kids – without joining a regular Unit. And they enjoy all the benefits of Auxiliary membership (click here to see Member Benefits).
There are many ways Members At Large help the Auxiliary educate, advocate, and fundraise on behalf of Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Members At Large can learn about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved, such as:
■ Helping a Unit with a special event. It’s a great way to support events that fit with your schedule, as well as to get to know what each Unit is all about.
■ Participate in an Auxiliary-wide event. Events such as the Union-Tribune Kids’ NewsDay and Fantasy on Ice are wonderful ways to see the real impact that the Auxiliary had on our community.
